Homecoming 2011

Brothers,

The Zeta Nu chapter of Sigma Chi would like to inform our alumni brothers of an event in which we are celebrating our 45th anniversary! Zeta Nu alumni can give us much insight, as a house we are strong, as a unit we may be stronger, with the alumni we are forever bound in ritualistic brotherhood. We invite you to celebrate 45 years of brotherhood that Zeta Nu has been able to provide to all of us. We welcome those who still hold Sigma Chi close to them and those who may have lost the passion that at one time Sigma Chi made us all feel. Zeta Nu will be celebrating 45 years of excellence on Saturday, October 8th. This homecoming event will consist of the following. 9 am- A ritualistic meeting in our chapter room for those alumni brothers who wish to relive a part of our ritualistic bond. After this meeting we will be having a Housing Core meeting with the chapter and our alumni brothers on the Housing Core board.

11am- Brunch including food and coffee

12noon- Tailgating/Open house for alumni to reconnect with the chapter house

2pm- Western Michigan University vs. Bowling Green University

6:30 pm-Dinner outside (weather permitting). This includes an appetizer food spread with a tent and seating located in the back parking lot with a 3rd party vendor cash bar.

Zeta Nu will also be hosting an alumni golf outing on Friday October 7th, if you would like to participate in this event please contact Riley Hohman at (734)-497-1470 for more information.
We look forward to hearing from many alumni brothers who are interested celebrating Zeta Nu’s 45 years. Please RSVP to our Consul if you will be attending this event.

A Letter from the Chapter Advisor of the Zeta Chapter of Sigma Chi

Brothers,

As Chapter Advisor it is my honor to appoint worthy alumni brothers to serve on the Zeta Nu Alumni Advisory Board or AAB.  The purpose of the AAB is to provide the undergraduate chapter with advice and guidance as they manage the daily operations of the Zeta Nu Chapter.  The AAB is designed to mirror the positions and structure of the active chapter’s executive committee.  Each member of the advisory board is selected to serve in a position where their individual talents can best supplement the current needs of the active chapter.  Members of the AAB bring their professional, personal, and fraternal experience to the undergraduate brothers, acting not only as advisors but personal mentors to the chapter officers.  The goal of the AAB is to preserve the longevity of Zeta Nu, foster lifelong relationships with our fellow alumni and undergraduate brothers, promote a values based leadership experience for each member, and ensure that standards and ideals of Sigma Chi are reflected in the undergraduate chapter.  The participation and involvement of each member of the AAB is a testimony to the strength of our fraternal bond and exemplifies the lifelong nature of our commitment to service.

The AAB is always seeking the support and assistance of dedicated brothers and friends of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.  Below is a list of the current members of the AAB.  For more information, or to get involved, please feel free to contact me.

Fraternally Yours,
